The event will be held from 11am – 3pm at Andrew Lock Park, Glorious Promenade off Cedar Road, Redbank Plains. There will be plenty of entertainment and activities for the whole family including a jumping castle, animal farm, rock climbing wall, face painting, giant slide plus a snow cone stall, ice cream, popcorn, sausage sizzle, trackless train ride and loads of free giveaways. Local radio station River 94.9 will broadcast live from the event.
Homebuyers will also have the opportunity to speak to sales consultants about Mountview’s new Hilltop release. Featuring 23 lots, the Hilltop release will offer blocks ranging in size from 315sqm to 897sqm. Prices range from $157,900 to $230,000.
Mountview also features a selection of open homes to walk through with home and land prices in the community starting from $279,900.
Devine Communities General Manager Andrew Brimblecombe said the family fun day would be an entertaining and action packed day for the family.
“The event will also be an excellent opportunity for homebuyers to explore our community and have a sneak peek at the new Hilltop release,” he said.
“With picturesque Mt Juillerat as a backdrop, the Hilltop release offers peace and tranquillity in a convenient location only 15 minutes’ drive from the Ipswich CBD. Buyers will also enjoy the leafy green parklands and family friendly atmosphere. It’s great value.”
He said Mountview was a great place to raise a family because of its close proximity to a vast range of great amenities.
The community is close to Redbank Plaza and Orion shopping centres and surrounded by many schools and childcare centres, with Redbank State School only 500m away.
There are also plans for a proposed train station linking Ipswich and Springfield Lakes, with a Redbank Plains South Station.
Residents will also have access to a planned retail and commercial centre at Mountview, which will be anchored by a major supermarket chain and feature specialty shops, fast food outlet, service station, tavern and a childcare centre.
On completion, the master-planned community of Mountview will be home to 1300 families.
