Here’s what our customers have to say about living in Mountview Community.
Couple find Mountview good value
Mountview’s value-for-money home sites proved to be the obvious choice for experienced property buyers Glen Tucker and Julie Levitt. The couple were looking to buy their third property last year and didn’t hesitate when they came across a corner block at the masterplanned community.
“We had been living at Springfield Lakes, but we thought it was more affordable to come here as we were able to purchase a much bigger block. We definitely got better value for money,” said Glen.
“We also liked the fact that the land was level and had park vistas at the front and hill vistas at the back. We liked that our road was one-way and you couldn’t park in the street.”
Glen said the future infrastructure planned for the area, including new shops, parks and roads, was very attractive. The couple has built a three-bedroom home on their land and are now looking forward to building a future at Mountview.
Solid choice for Foley family
When Simon and Gillian Foley went searching for their new home, they knew they wanted something that was solid and high quality. Originally hailing from South Africa, the couple wanted a brick home of similar construction to those in their native land.
“We wanted a new, low-maintenance home that offered longevity.”
The Foleys found what they were looking for at Mountview. The Glenelg 23 display home caught their eye with its spacious layout and swimming pool. Offering three bedrooms, a study, living room and double garage, the Glenelg 23 had everything the Foleys needed in a new home.
“It looked nice, was open plan and had a good, quality kitchen with stone bench tops,” said Simon. “We decided to build a home that was exactly the same.”
The Foleys and their two sons Matthew, 8, and Jason, 6, moved into their new home last March.
“It’s been great,” Simon said. “One of the reasons we chose Mountview was because it was the closest Devine community to Brisbane that offered affordable, new home and land packages. We got the house design we wanted.”
Mountview makes the dream happen
Bron and Jason Steiner had long dreamed of a home with plenty of space for their kids to play.
That dream recently became reality when the couple found their perfect first home at Mountview, Redbank Plains.
With three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a double garage and a backyard, the Colonial Homes design fits all their requirements.
“This home has plenty of space for the children and it’s only seven minutes away from their school. It’s a huge improvement. We used to live in Forest Lake and the school run was more than half an hour each way,” Bron said.
Another couple living the Aussie dream in this masterplanned community are Antony and Maria Mudgway. They’d planned to rent for the rest of their lives until they came to Mountview.
“We only had a small deposit and we had nearly run out of options,” Antony said.
“Then we met with the sales rep, Steve. He showed us a new home and instantly we knew that it was the one for us. We said yes straight away.”
Antony, Maria, their son Taylor’s two cats and two dogs love their new three-bedroom, double-garage home.
“It’s fantastic living in your own home and knowing that your money is paying off your own mortgage and not someone else’s,” Antony said. “We couldn’t be happier.”
